I can't believe nobody figured this out? She obviously hates the '14 tail lights too. Lol

Just went to DMV website and they said ,,,not available

This may just mean that someone already got that one

But the plate 14 LE still good to go

There is a BMW here in New Mexico with "X-RATED". They will put anything on a plate around here. I've also seen "BAD-A55", HIOFICR, and PMS247.

I was thinking and the only thing I could get is- 14 1le = 14 only
Then they thought it was a pedophile joke or something. My best guess

Maybe just a simple appeal would be adequate, but in the state of CA, I doubt if anything in government is simple.
I've been there various times. In March 2012 i went into a CA DMV to get my personalized plates. I ordered "thekid13" and was given the same letter explaining this request is offensive. So appealed various times with the same results, No! Then i was told by a supervisor that a lot of personal plates get rejected due to gang names, numbers, and nicknames. Here in socal i get the #13 and the name the kid. As far as other states and 1LE i haven't the foggiest. So i guess they win and we lose... Nuff said
I will stop now before i get banned.

And this is why I could never live in California, to may rules, policies, laws etc. that just don't make sense to me.

We have family there and its a great place to visit, beautiful state, lots to do, great weather, lots of nice people, but still I could not handle living with some of the senseless laws they have.

Good luck OP, I'm at a loss for how it could be offensive.
