2017 ZL1 Front End / Rear End

Obviously the front grill is different on the zl1 vs the SS but is the front end any wider?

Is the rear end of the ZL1 wider than the SS?

Does anyone know the dimensions on this to back it up?

If the rear end is wider will the rear wheels be off set?

thanks,
Jonathan

p.s. ordering my red ZL1 this week right here in Detroit!

The rear is not wider. The fronts are said to wider, but appear no larger in person and in photos.

Front is clearly wider by every account from all the engineers saying so. Why would they make this up?

The front is wider. The hood is wider, the front fascia is wider and the fenders are wider and this is all from a Camaro engineer. No specifics on deminsions. OP why does it matter if you are ordering one?

Call me old or what not, but i do not think that the fenders are wider, the hood is different that it has a hole in it for the CF insert, and will soon prove it, have a ZL1 bumper on the way to test fit on a 1LT car.

Who said anything about making it up? I'm sure they are wider, no reason to make it up, just that they APPEAR no larger than the standard stuff in person and in photos.

I would love to see this happen. Is there a time frame that you could give me that way I could come back and check this thread of will it be posted in the ZL1 thread? How can i know when you put that fender on the 1LT?

I'm not sure it is alot wider like on a GT350 vs a standard Mustang, but I heard from many GM reps that the ZL1 front fascia will not fit on a standard Camaro. I think they did not like people running around with "fake" ZL1s...since everyone wants to look like a ZL1, even when they are not.

Even if it is or isn't...does or doesn't, I am sure the aftermarket will make something if there is a demand...and it seems like there definitely is.

The fenders look the same and that the extra width is in the fascia below the seam

The front fenders are wider by a few millimeters on each side. Total width is maybe an inch wider. He back fenders are not wider. I asked the engineer at the factory fest about the back. Only the front.
