I have been there several times because it´s only 270 miles away from me but I still have no Idea where the next corner goes. This is one of the most complicated raceways in the world. Believe me, there are corners you cant´t see even 100 feet away.

Maybe they should let other drivers try the ZL1 to get better times
#30 is not bad but I see more potential....
Laugh all you want at this post: buy a copy of Gran Turismo and practice up... It's no comparison to the real thing obviously, but it does help to memorize the track (what section/ corner is coming next)

My best bud and I actually do a legit 24hr race (in the game) and switch off every few laps to see if we can best each others time...

Like i said, laugh it up.... But, i could draw the track blindfolded and have never been there

It's on my bucket list to turn a few laps there some day... When they put the speed restrictions on the course it was a horrible day for car enthusiasts around the world... I was very happy to hear the restrictions had been lifted

Um... Not sure how that's possible, considering not a single one of GM's products are in the top four. Are they gonna run it four times with four different configurations, and somehow beat these times?

I'd love to see Sabine Schmitz take the wheel.

It's 100% true practicing the course virtually helps. I run Watkins Glen and practice my line on Forza 6. It's absolutely worthless for learning how to drive mind you. For simple track recognition it's amazing. Knowing the track intimately definitely makes you faster.

That´s a little help on every raceway. I did the same on the "Sachsenring", the german MotoGP Raceway before I went there to practice. 13 corners, easy to lerarn, but when you are there and see the differences in hight on this course Very different. And now learn 73 corners and straights between these corners on the Nordschleife....
Believe me, it´s a little, but very little help.

Text me when you´re planning to visit. I´ll meet you there

2 weeks ago I was at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Had no chance to drive on it but walked around it. Very impressive ! But Nürburgring Nordschleife is a different league You will see

She´s quick She drives the "Ring Taxi". You can take a ride with her in an M5

Klick for a video

She used to have the Lap Record

But I think there are some faster guys like her...

Ha! I totally agree, just for track layout memorization...
And I would hope the Nurburgring is in a different league, otherwise it would be a disappointment to travel half way around the world to see/experience it
