Tires sizes

I'm wanting to upgrade to the Michelin tires but I'm also wanting to go to a 295 front and a 315 rear. Has anybody had any issues running 295/35/20 and 315/35/20?

I was in your shoes 3 months ago. I wanted to have the most aggressive look possible, however, I ended up going with the 275/35 and 295/35 with Michelin PSS in K1 specs. I did a bunch of research regarding this subject and Im pretty happy with the outcome. Here are a few things you should to keep in mind before deciding:

1. Do you have the mag ride?
if you do, you are limited on how tall of tire you can put in the front. This is because of the mag ride sensor in the front which is close to where the top of front tire. So, a couple of options, either lower the car and go with 295/30 or leave it at stock hight and go with 275/35 to fill the wheel gaps.

If you dont have the mag ride, I believe you can get away with 295/35 depending on the tire brand. Someone else with this set up can chime in and confirm.

2. Are you planning on lowering the car?
Lowering your car will allow you to run 30 series tires without wheel gap and reduces any possible rubbing issues. You will also need to deal with and potential issues that come with taking the car out of its stock form.

3. Depending on what size tire you decide on the front, it will dictate what you put in the back. If you end up with the 35 series tires in the back, you would need to deal with moving the wire harness on the left rear side, and either let the tire put a small hole in your inner fender cover or use a push pin to push the inner fender bump in.

To summarize, it really is up to you, as far as how involve you want to be with deal with preps and potential issues for putting bigger tires on your car. Some people are okay with doing the work, testing different setups, and risk potential tire rubbing; And, frankly their cars look badass. Or some people like me, who do not want to deal with any potential issues, lowering, rubbing etc. This is the reason I went with the set up that I have, in the back, they are as wide as 305s, they fill the wheel gaps really nice, and they are flush in the front. I also didnt have to do anything to prep the car, I dont have any rubbing even in really hard turns. Above all, they perform a lot better than stock. Hope this helps in making a decision,

Gen6, do you have pics of your setup? I too am looking to fill the wheel gap without having to lower my car if I can. I have mag ride so it might be a little tough for me.

Sure, here are some pics I took today, sorry the car is really dirty because of rain. Keep in mind that pictures do not do justice and it looks much more aggressive in person. Im planning to take better pictures once it stops raining and I wash the car. Also, the 3rd and 4th pictures are right after the wheel install so, the front had not settled yet. By the way I have mag ride too and that is one of the reasons I went with my setup.

35s are an issue. Stick with 30 aspect ratio in a 6th gen. The front is the problem area near the strut.
