Likely the same scenario and percentage of Camaro/performance cars fall into the same "category"....They never see a track or performance competition of any kind, either...but, you know, they "could" if they wanted....lol Just like with our Camaros, and off-roading, it's far and away mostly "show", and "no-go"....It's an "image"/"imagination" for Camaros, off-road, performance, etc. that sells cars to the public. Actual full limit capabilities of cars and trucks are never realized. But, hey, you gotta drive something...lol |

I somehow doubt it would be acceptable if the next gen Camaro was based on the Cruze because most people don’t race. (I’m not saying you would think a Cruze based Camaro is still a Camaro).

FenwickHockey65, is there some information regarding the next generation Impala?
The P2XX platform & LaCrosse improvements, make me excited about what might come with the new Impala. I'm hopeful it will soldier on.

The new LaCrosse was introduced before GM began axing sedans & the XTS is already a dead man walking.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next Malibu (and Regal) get a little bit larger to accommodate the fact that they aren't any bigger sedans in their respective brands.

It certainly is. So is the Impala and a shame what the shifting industry trends is causing. Whenever I rent a car and get an Impala, it is such a nice car to drive. Plenty of space, trunk is huge, etc. The only reason I am considering a CUV as a second car/primary driver is because I would like the ground clearance so I won't be plowing snow in the winter as I don't necessarily have the luxury of being able to call in to work saying, " Sorry can't make it, snowed in" unless it is a horrible storm. |
