Pin stipes
I posted this question recently, but somehow it ended up in the V-6 Engine forum. So, bear with me and allow me to post again.
I am toying with the idea of pin striping my car. Now don't flame me about padded landau tops and vinyl roofs. :>) This car has so much styling connection with its past that I am tempted to add a hint of a retro look to it. I may test the idea with inexpensive removable tape first...just to see how it looks. If I decide to go with pin stripes, I'll get them painted on. To make this idea work, it will be about the right color selection and layout, ie, width, number of stripes, etc. If you any suggestions or ideas, I am open to your comments about colors, width, etc. The car is VR with painted silver rally stripes, tinted glass and chrome wheels. Also, if you have photos of a new Camaro with pin stripes that accent the sides of the front fender and rear quarter, please post them. Alfie

I couldn't ever put something like pin stripes on this car. It would be like putting vent shades/rain guards on the windows. But that's just my two cents worth. but to each their own, stripe away!

...or putting one of those big clunky looking fuel doors on a Camaro...like you said, "to each his own".

My dealer had a VR with gold pin stripes goingdown the side. Have to say itruined the car! It just made the lines of car look tacky! But it is no longer there so someone purchased the car! Personaly I wouldn't do it but if you want go for it.

I agree, subtle is the way to go. Do you have pics? If so, please post them.

It would ruin the car. Might as well place 3 of those little oval ghetto vents on each of the upper front fenders while you are at it.
