I say do it. if the people who run it let you on it is more of their ass on the line. of coarse there will be many people with sand in vag that say don't and hopefully some day that sand will turn into a pearl for them.

Then again I am more a risk taker by nature and you do meet some interenting people in prison so it is a socially building experience if you have to go that route so I see these kind of opertunities as win win ha ha.

so everyone is says "do it" or "dont do it!" i think at this point his window has passed. and i can tell you you would want more than 1.8 mile for a "top speed" run

like some earlier post i too ride a GSXR1000... hints my screen name

i have no access to an airport but i do have a video to share on the topic.

this is a 2012 ZL1 M6

6th gear roll on from 91mph.

i had to do it this way becuase i was driving with one hand and holding the camera with the other!! TRUE story

this was as fast as a dare go driving with only one hand on the wheel =)

LEGAL DISCLAIMER: speeding is against the law.and the video you are about to see was performed by a trained professional in a controlled environment* duplicate at your own risk. not responsible for tickets or accidents

*o.k. not really a trained professional and this was on a public highway about 11am on a weekday but i am used to these kinds of speeds.

click the pic below (couldn't figure out out to load the video so its a link) and let the backlash begin!

Hahaha sand in ******? Why is it so hard to understand? Its a federal crime. I can't believe so many people are telling him to do it haha. On your way home you might as well rob a bank just for good measure, hahaha.

I would expect most people to use some commonsense.

Nice!! I haven't gotten my Z that high "yet"! But I did have an 02 SS with a SLP StageII package that I got up to 155 before I backed down. Still had a little in 5th and basically all of 6th. Idk if the StageII eliminated the speed limiter in it, but the Z in the lower triples feels smooth as glass!

Nothing legal about this at all. Ever heard the saying "shit rolls down hill". Your going to put a lot of people jobs on the line for 10mins of fun. Seeing as how you don't have the proper clearance to go on the air strip, that's the first person and not the last that will either get suspended of their duties or fired if you were to get caught. Personally, I wouldn't do it. There is a reason they have a 10 minute window because there is surveillance. My airfield has it, theres does too. But hey, our opinions don't matter, so not sure why you even asked us. If you want to do it bad enough you'll do it.

The NTSB, Homeland Security, sate and local laws make it illegal for any vehicle to drive on the runway of any active commercial or civilian airport with out authorization.... It is a federal offense with a sentence of 12-24 months...guy did it in Philly last year and got 16 months with a $92,000 restitution fine....I would also recommend that if you do, do it...you might not want to post about it on a public forum...
