Yes sir! That is exactly what I have now. I have the front end a arms off and springs etc now. I ordered tubular a arms for it and after 3 days trying to figure out how I could make them work I finally called the place I got them from and gave them the part numbers of the ones they sent and they told me they were the wrong ones! They sent me new ones finally and I got those yesterday so tomorrow I am going to try to install those and get it back rolling again. As soon as I do I will put up some pics also. I have been ordering parts for cars for years but it seems like in the last year I always get the wrong parts shipped to me. Maybe now my luck will change!

How funny! I have rally wheels on my Z and I am going to buy a set of torque thrusts for it. You're doing the opposite! Like you I am also dropping a 383 in mine as well. The original 302 is long gone. Mine is an X33 car built in February of 69. I thought about buying a date coded 302 block and having one built but people want too damn much money for an original 302 block. Between 3 and 8 grand! Ridiculous!

You are right it is crazy what they want for them. I thought about piecing one together also but I kept asking myself what is the purpose? I know it MIGHT be worth more but what did everyone do with these cars when they bought them? They modified them anyway so I don't care if it has a 302 in it or not. I have not got to the point yet of replacing the motor but everyone of my friends keep telling me to put a LS2 or 3 in it so they have me thinking about it. I am not convinced yet that is what I should do but I will have to make up my mind in the next couple of months because the motor in mine is weak.

Nice! Classic!

Wish I could find a "little old lady drove it on Sunday's" car someday.

Im planning on giving my 2012 SS Transformers to my grandson in about 20+ years. He and it (and me) should be old enough by then.

I went ahead and just bought a GM crate motor instead of a LS. It is a SP383/435hp with the fast burn heads. I finally got it in and running this last saturday so now I just have little things to do to finish it. It does not have the lope I wanted but it still should be a great motor. The air cleaner on it is not the one that will stay on it as it was on the motor I pulled out. I want one of the original style air cleaners that came on these cars so I will have it pretty soon and then I can finally start driving it.
