Trunk will not close

Started having this issue a week ago. All of a sudden my trunk lid won't shut. I looked in, and the hook the latch grabs is loose. I am assuming I need to tighten that up.

I was just checking if anyone else had a similar issue and if they fixed it themselves or took to a dealer.

I had this same issue. It is an easy fix. Just tighten up the hook.

Yep it was very easy. Unscrew the liner screws, and then just line up the hook correctly and tighten until the trunk lid levels up with the rest of the body.
