Dammit . . . subscribed! I really want to hear how this tune stacks up - it is a "canned" tune right?

GTO you were currently running Hypertech if I remember correctly before the IPF tune?

I cannot speak for IPF but I can say Vince at Trifecta is wonderful to work with. I have a 2009 Cobalt SS Turbo that I have two different tunes for from Vince. I installed the regular tune for "normal driving" 22psi, 93oct. and one for the drag strip that runs pure Iowa sweet corn. I have had the tunes on my car for 60k with no issues.

I also bought the tactrix cable so I could add or delete the tunes as needed. I also can data log, check and reset codes off of my laptop.

I think one difference is that IPF...doesn't have ghost cam...correct me if I'm wrong but if they did/do I would seriously think about switching over provided the proof of the gains

I PM'ed Jesse about that, he said just ask at the time of order and they would do it.

I'd take the extra HP/TQ over the ghost cam 100% with no seconds thoughts.

Yes GTO was running Hypertech so his impressions will not be in comparison to Trifecta.

I wouldn't go so far as to say speculation. I'd say... unconfirmed data and customer feedback.

I haven't been following this really, has anyone that has Trifecta switched over or the other way around? Anyone going from stock to any kind of tune is probably going to say how amazing it is. It's all just hot air until someone compares the two on the same track on the same day or on the same dyno on the same day.

This is exactly what the OP said he was going to do. He has trifecta now, will be switching to IPF, and doing dynos, quarter mile runs, and giving overall impressions of the two tunes.

Cool, I'll stand by for results too then. I'm interested to see what the numbers are. OP you should look at your AFR and knock too when you're doing the tests. We can make the cars make a bit more power by running them lean but it's not good long term.
