new to the forums just saying hello

as of 2 weeks ago after 3 long years i am now a zl1 owner and proud of it looking forward to being a pain in the butt with questions just wanted to say hello to all of you and i guess ill ask my first now

looking to the power up by 60 to 80 hp in my zl1 that being said the first place im thinking of starting at is the supercharger it self being the isolator is going to be replaced heres a list of what im thinking

2.55 inch diameter steel supercharger drive pulley
serpentine belt
solid supercharger isolator coupling
cold air intake
160 degree thermostat
102mm throttle body
after that going to work on the exhaust

corsa cat back 3''
long tube headers
and so on

now my questions are after all that

will the stock injectors be enought?
and im not going to be able to tune the car right off the bat is there anyone who could point me in the right way for tuning?

or should i start off somewhere else?

Congrats.
The Supercharger is under warranty and if it has been replaced then it already has solid coupler, if not then the dealer will replace if it "rattles". Cai is a good starting point, But, if you can find a tuner, then headers are in order, followed by a cat-back if you so choose. The long and short is that every engine mod needs, requires, and benefits from the tune. The list can go on and on depending on how deep your pockets are. LOL. I suggest to get a direction of where you want/expect your ride to be? Make a plan, do research, find a tuner, start the journey, and enjoy your new ride.

Welcome to the forum.

I think the upper pulley and CAI are a good call, especially since you are going to change out the isolator. You have got to do a tune if you do that pulley. I agree with Bigtime that Ted Jannetty can get you going up there.

Don't know what you are thinking long term as far as horsepower and upgrades but the 102 throttle body won't give you as much bang for the buck unless you do a cam a head work and there are more potential problems with a 102.

I think even with the 2.55 upper, CAI and a tune you should upgrade the injectors. As you build your car the fuel system (pumps and injectors) have to be matched all along the way or you have problems. A good tuner will be very familiar with all of this.

The stock exhaust is very good as far as horsepower and flow. Headers give you a nice bump and should be considered as soon as possible but a Corsa system won't make much power difference at all unless you go to a 3" exhaust, even then the power gain per dollar is minor.

Call Ted or Slowhawk, in general it is better to find a tuner you trust than asking for opinions on forums....lol. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the recommendation gentlemen.

Hello, Welcome, and congrats on a great car.

I also own a 13 ZL-1, and have developed power package that give the best bang for the buck and include the Custom tune to make it a true plug and play power solution.

I suggest you start with my 75 RWHP Package it is as much as you can do without changing injectors.

We leave the upper pulley alone for several reasons.
A. we can drive the supercharger to full speed with a selection of lower pulleys.

B. We do not void the 10 year warranty on the blower.

C.We do not induce any belt slip by going smaller on the upper pulley.

My 75 RWHP package is as follows.

Rotofab or CAI cold air kit
ATI superdamper
ATI 10% overdrive supercharger pulley
ARP crank bolt
Gates belt
SCT x4 Tuner
JRE custom tune to bring it all together.

Thank you for looking.

Ted.

Welcome to the forums there's a wealth of info here to process. I would suggest getting a after market oil catch can for your new ZL1.

Go with a 5% unerdrive pulley if you want to keep your warranty intake.
