Trading 2010 2ss/rs for a 2011 2ss/rs. . . How much would you be out?

Just curious what the difference would be if you traded a loaded 2010 2ss/rs for a loaded 2011 2ss/rs. How much would it be to trade up? Let's say a vehicle that has less than 10,000 miles . . . 6,000 miles.

On a trade you would get screwed. Why would you do that?

To get a different color/different optioning, the HUD is supposed to be out next year.

Depending on the dealership probably Somewhere between $5,000-7,000.

Back in 03 I bought a loaded ex-cab Z71 Silverado the whole time thinking I should have bought the AV instead. Nine months later I traded in for an 04 AV and lost about $6,000. The truck had 7,000 miles on it at the time. I guess it would also depend on the demand at the time of your trade. You may do OK and then you may not.

I was thinking about doing this to down grade to a 2011 1ss if they have them. I really dont care about the interior of the car as much as I thought I would. Of course there would still have to be other perks. I would expect to get hosed and if it was really that bad I would just stick with what I got.

Ummm, I guess not. Chill dude, it's a forum. A question like that is bound to bring some negative responses. Just the way forums are.

See it would be a totally different story if his question was "Should I trade my 2010 2SS/RS for a 2011 2SS/RS?"

He simply asked how much do you think he'd lose so it's really not necessary to have comments that have no regards to the question.

I bought a new ram in Febuary. Hated it. Traded it in october. 9,000 miles on it. Cost me $5,000 between what i had into ram including tax title, bedliner, step bars, xhaust intake, etc etc etc and what i got on trade.

And i didn't think twice about it.

If you aren't happy with what you have ,dump it.\

As far as the op goes, I would say 3 grand or so if you sold it yourself and probably 5 or 6 on a trade in.

This is what he said. "Just curious what the difference would be if you traded a loaded 2010 2ss/rs for a loaded 2011 2ss/rs. How much would it be to trade up?" I think you can see these are pretty much the same. I mean why would one ask the question otherwise.
