Want loud 3" full exhaust with very little decel popping

Getting LTHs and full 3" exhaust soon. I want it loud like muffler delete with very little decel popping. Can anyone recommend something up my alley? Thanks!

SLP Loud Mouth isn't a full 3" though is it? Can anyone comment on the decel popping though?

I have the Loudmouth (basically muffler delete) and there is quite a bit of decel popping right now with the colder weather. I have heard that you can mess with the tuning and get the popping out though.

Don't want to tune it out. You lose MPGs when you do.

I have the SLP Xpipe and the Loud mouth 1 exhuast. So from the catback I got all 3"inch with no mufflers. There is still lots of decel popping. But with my mid mufflers there is not a lot of decel popping but its not as loud...

With a straight through loud exhaust and OE calibration with ultra lean decel tuning, it's going to pop - no getting around it with that combo.

Need to either add some volume to the mufflers (that's one reason the factory mufflers are the size of giant suit cases), or some decel fuel enrichment tuning.

With LT Headers, tuning would be ideal anyway, so I'd find a tuner that has tinkered with the decel popping. Slap on a CAI, the LT's and exhaust, and have the tune perfected. A bit of offset to the mpgs isn't going to be that dramatic in exchange for getting exactly what you want. And possibly someone could use a tuning method that could be returned to stock if needed.

Any high flowing exhaust will amplify the decel popping, no way around it! I enjoy the popping especially when in the middle of a "pop" you hit the gas, it sound like a race car on the track, I LOVE IT! Get your loud exhaust and have a ball!

you'll be hard pressed to find a loud 3" catback that doesn't have decel popping and it's definitely more prevalent in the cold weather. I have a magnaflow competition series catback and it certainly has the popping but I honestly kinda like it! although I have heard exhaust systems on other vehicles, especially Borla and Corsa, that appear to have signficantly more of the decel popping.

I have the Magnaflow 3" Competition Serious Catback part# 16483.

Very loud, very deep and very minimal popping. Shit sounds AWESOME with LTs and a nice cam! 4-6.6k RPM car gives me a boner.
