Cisco sent me a text last night about the engine and my heart sank. Sorry to hear that, BUT a ten second pass sounds VERY doable with your build. Good work man!

Yeah, from the MPH at the 1/8th, we had 10s if for sure with a better 60'. Still don't have that all worked out yet, but the converter helped a bit. Need better front breaks because we can't hold it back with the slicks and launch with the kind of boost we want to. Rhino will post some of his slips and you can see we are about even at the 1/8th and he ran a 10.6x on at least one pass. It's all theory though until I do it, so for now it's still a mid 11s car.
By the way, this is the single disk converter, it will be a while before the multi disk is ready. Rhino looked at it this morning and doesn't think the tranny or TC took any damage. There are several holes in the block so it was a total failure. Not sure what that means at this point. May point us more toward the timing chain or it could just be a cascade of failures. Rhino looked at the logs and it looks like all hell broke loose at about 103 MPH. Up to that point everything looked fine. He'll have to dig in some and see if he can figure out the order of events, but with samples every 1/10s he may not be able to figure much out. Nothing much is going to happen until sometime next week.

(with exception to the catastrophic engine failure) Wishing you all the best on your rebuild and can't wait to see more updates. Cheers on the sweet time slip though. No doubt you'll be in the 10's before this is over. No doubt in my mind

In the meantime I looked up some numbers. 0 - 60 in 2.47 seconds according to the 1/8 mile info. Same web site has your 1/8 to 1/4 info. listed for a 11.26 @ 126 Damn Good for a BABY V6 3.6 L............

The EFR turbos are amazing...and your results even with the poor track prep show it.
Rhino will figure out what happened to the engine, but if the A/F ratio was good it had to be a internal part failure, and at that speed/RPM it only takes a small part failure to gernade all, but you accomplished a new world record!!!! And I agree on the 10's...it was there for sure. All a learning process, and hope the turbos are fine. They are amazing compared to any other design we have ever used...and your shifts show how they dont have recovery lag either. Let us know if we can help. |

Yeah. I'll have to open it up but it looks like the rods couldn't hold the sustained 20-21 psi. I felt so bad but we have a better idea about limitations of the stock rods.
