I have the exact same lens. I currently have it on my Rebel. I need to get a bigger body to put this lens to it's full potential. Is the lens still running a little over a grand?

It's between 13-1400 depending on where you look, new. I got mine off Craigslist. You really do need to upgrade bodies, it's kind of wasted on a Rebel, but I'm sure you know that. Hell, even my 40D is a bit puny it seems
