GASP!

John,

I guess this is what Chevy means with Find New Roads. I hope your Stingray journey is as rewarding as your 5th Gen has been.

First... Sorry to hear you're selling it, you didn't really even get a chance to enjoy it much. :/
However, if there was one car I could see selling that one for, it would definitely be a C7. I'm with you there!

Now... HOLY SHTUFF WHAT A STEAL! If I could swing it, I'd be heading up to NJ ASAP. Unfortunately though, $60k is just a bit much to safely part with.
As a testament to its awesomeness, my wife would even let me pony up the dough if we had it! (I've talked with her about the ZLX plenty of times). Coming from her, that means a LOT. She's never even considered letting me spend anywhere near that much on a car (even if we had the money).

Anyway, I just thought I'd chime in and wish you luck on whatever works out.

You worked so hard on modding this beast it breaks my heart to see it go away and I hope who buys it appreciates all the work put into making it the monster it has become.

John,
I would guarantee if I had 60k hanging around, you would not have to find a place in your garage for the ZLX! It would already be on an enclosed transport in route to Chalmers, In.
He would be sharing stable space with ABL99 & LeMans68. He would have so much fun and be the envy of every "car guy and gal" in the Midwest!!
I am so honored to have you choose our "touched up" pic for your desktop!!..

Going to the 4th of July Festival at Wolcott, In. They have a car show and plenty of things to do along with our Church's events as well. Will get some photos and share.
I will remember to pay respect to all those that have given so that we can enjoy our freedom. What a wonderful country we are part of!!...

Please be safe and lean on Him....

Thank you my brother! Just enjoying this Northeast heat, I guess I forgot what it was like to shower then go outside and get soaking wet from the humidity living in Cali for the past 2 years

Kurt, my brother, you have something equally impressive sitting in your garage x 2!!! So you have the BEST of both worlds! I posted something in your thread tonight that made me think of you.

.

Looks like it has *Keller family* written all over it! Hope you & Kathy and the rest of the Keller clan have a happy, safe weekend and enjoy showing off your collection, cause I'm sure you already are the envy of many in Chalmers with that stuffed garage!! Believe me Kurt, I've really been leaning on 'Him" to help guide me to make the right choice, sometimes I wish he'd just slap some sense into me!

Thank you RC & the same to you!!! I did exactly what you said, besides a lighting off a few rockets in the neighborhood this evening !!! Since it's a holiday weekend the roads have been pretty light, so I told the wife, "I'll be back I'm going for a blast" and then took the ZLX out on a highway run, man what a fun car to drive!!

These past few sleepless nights caused by having the ZLX up for sale here & on Ebay, have given me too much time to question myself. My auction ends in the next 24 hours and I'm really close to ending it early. Even though I'm about $2K from the give away reserve price, I've been answering so many questions from interested parties, I'm really scared someone's going to pull the trigger right before it ends, then I'll be stuck with sellers remorse. The C7s haven't even started down the newly built assembly line yet and according to my dealer they're giving themselves a 3 month window to work out any kinks in production. I'm thinking I just go as planned and add everything that's still in boxes, keep the miles low and then relist it when I know the Stingrays will be coming soon. Well, another sleepless night as my mind races and can't relax

Just spent the last few hours reading your built page. One word AMAZING. If i wasnt getting the 2014 1LE and have $15,000 extra i would buy yours in a heart beat.
Very nice job. You did everything correct and took your time. Well done sir

[B]Thank you very much Casperadub, you have no idea how that makes me feel knowing you just spent the last few hours reading my thread, and enjoyed it enough to compliment it. I love writing about things I enjoy, whether it be fast cars, fast boats, surfing, food or real estate. So I guess I'm doing something right if I kept your attention to read the whole thing, I always try to post quality over quantity in my posts, and make my thread and experiences as honest, educational and humorous as possible.

I wish you best of luck with your new 1LE, you should really have fun with that baby! A couple friends have them and they really enjoy them.
