I bought a dremel 4200 series. If nothing else, just make sure it has the variable speed control. It is very nice to have. I have been pretty happy with my dremel. I used it to install the race scoop on my car. Worked well on trimming the plastic.

Speaking as a self employed Handyman for the last 18 years, get the best Dremel you can afford. Variable speed is good. I use the Dremel several times a week.I am on my second one . I finally burned up the first one. I tried a Tool Shop one once, it quit working on its first use. I don't like the rechargeable ones, I had one but it always went dead during use and I ended up getting out the corded one anyway.

I bought a corded variable speed Dremel back in the early '90s for building R/C boats. It still works.
