There is a GM service buletin out for leaking cap and resovoir. They will replace it for free.

No, the factory cap will only say Dot 3 because that is what it comes with from the factory. If you upgraded your fluid to Dot 4 that is on you to either find a cap that says it, modify your stock one or just remember that you have the Dot 4 in there.
Personally I just use the stock cap. No one ever messes with it but me anyway. T.
