Put stripes on the roof

Hey everyone, I just had stripes put on my Camaro today. I've been going back and forth since before I got the car about whether I wanted to put stripes on the roof or not. I thought it'd look cool, but they're not on the factory stripe kits. I decided to go with the roof stripes, and I love 'em.

In case anyone's on the fence about the same thing, I thought I'd post a couple pictures. I also have some "action-shots" of the stripes being put on this morning in my profile album.

Cool! Both the weather and the stripes! Seriously, I like them - they look great IMHO.

Looks good to me. stripes on the roof are personal preferrence. My taste is for single stripe over the roof or dual stripes on hood/trunk only. Now that I've seen non-tapered duals on the roof, they don't look bad at all.

Looks less half-jobbed imo. I'll never understand the "mustang stripes" comments. It looks awesome and if i were going to get stripes of any kind at all this would definitely be the direction I'd go in (more like the Indy 500 '10 Pace Car though).

Yeah I like em, I always thought it looked odd when you have stripes on the hood and trunk but none on the roof. (don't flame me about mustang stripes) I could see where having a sunroof might get in the way, but w/o a sunroof... why not?

I have been debating on full stripes (down the bumper) myself, like the Indy Pace Car but wider and with a pinstripe to go with.

There should be no rules on stripes. Do what you want if you like it. Congrats.

my stripes are being aplied tomorrow i took my car to him tonight so he will start them first thing in the morning. i choose no roof because there is a sunroof. but it looks cool with strips on the roof without the sunroof.
