The Michelin Pilot Super Sports and the Continental ExtremeContact Sport are both available through Simpletire.com and Tirerack.com as options. Both are great tires. I see the Pirelli P Zero PZ4 is an option too if you want to still use a run flat tire.

To be honest, no. I haven't really pushed the car since getting the new tires on either as well (just a few 0-60 hard launches). I'm sure it'll make a big difference once I track the car, if anything it definitely gives you confidence you have the tires/traction to handle any condition on the road in the south.

I have 1500 miles on these tires. The few times I have been in heavy rain, I never felt any issues with the tires. Tremendous grip on dry pavement.

I had a set of Continental Extreme Contact Sports on my 2016 2SS put on about 6 months before trading it for the ZL1 and I really liked them as compared to the GY runflats! The Continentals have a 300 treadwear rating too so they last longer and are cheaper than the Michelins.

The Michelins, in both the Super Sport and PS4S, are rated at 300 UTQG, where as the Conti Extreme Contact Sports are a 340 UTQG. Each tire manufacturer gets to set the rating on their own, so I would really call is a wash between the two. Price wise, you are saving about $200 on the full set of Conti's vs Michelins.

Absolutely right GrimReaper! The Continentals are very good tires for the money in my experience.

Just a quick update: turns out one of the employees at Belle Tire knows somebody who works at the Michelin factory in Indiana. Within the next week I should have some PS4s mounted on the car!
