cold air intake
Hey everyone, I just bought a '14 Summit White 2SS 1LE last saturday and I absolutely love it!! Im looking to buy a cold air intake and wanted peoples opinion on what brand I should get. Also, would I have to tune it or flash the computer if I installed one? Any input would be great....Thanks!!

i have a cold air induction intake and am very happy (No tune required). however, the K&N blackhawk would look really good with your summit white color scheme.

Now I also have a Duramax, and I have an aluminum intake on that and I wish I went with a plastic tube instead because the aluminum gets warmer and i know the best thing for a turbo is the coldest air possible, do you think it would be any issue on my camaro?

Give the thread below a look. It will give you some info on all of the more popular systems for these cars and help you decide which is best for you.
THE Air Intake Thread The Cold Air Inductions Inc systems are not bare aluminum. They are ceramic coated and their air boxes are insulated to prevent heat soak. The have been proven time and again to produce very strong performance gains. |

If I get one its gonna be a SLP Blackwing for half the price and looks a ton better and gives about the same HP gain as any of the other. |

I did the Roto-Fab one and I really like it. Easy to install and I got a great deal on it from dynosteve here on the boards. He is a vendor.

Roto-Fab is excellent, easy to install, noticeable gains, and requires no tune.
