Repair powder coated wheel or replace

Hey folks. I got some nasty curb rash on one of my wheels that was powder coated. I called one place and they said you cannot repair a powder coated wheel. Anybody got any other information. I'm currently residing in Northern VA. If it can't be done, anybody know where I can get a cheap set of stockers? Preferably the aluminum 5 spoke, but I will take the 10 spoke if they are available.

? how bad...per above pics help but powder coating is just that. Not sure how that would affect any repairs. good luck!

They make touch up paint for powdercoat, at least for industrial purposes. I'm sure you could match the paint color with a touch up spray and get pretty close. Takes a little finesse to match the texture/gloss, though.

I work in NoVa and used wheels onsite.com I had a really deep gouged driver side wheel (scrubbed a curb at 10mph) and they did a flawless job. They came to my work and I had the wheel in my jeep.

They want the tire on the whee since they have a rotational jig to spin it for paint and epoxy work.

Took about 1.5- 2 hours

179$ first wheel and i think 75$ for each additional during the same visit

Flawless match with my other wheels. I will use them again if ever hit scratch another

The work was done dec 17 and it still great now

I curbed my front passenger side Zl1 black wheel, sent it to Detroit Wheel and Tire, looks like new.
