My 2010 2SS built March 12, 2010 came with neither the Chiclets or the Performance tag.

Rumor is that some cars were “experiments” by the performance division.....factory tunes, different plugs, different cams, etc.....don’t race an early 2010 with that badge.....many were putting out 450+ hp to the rear wheels.

Those along with the chicklets were removed around Sept-Oct of 2009 as part of the bankruptcy settlement. GM Performance was briefly dissolved as part of that deal. They, along with the badge, returned in 2012 with the badge showing up on the ZL1, but with a bowtie logo instead of the previous GM logo. The badge was on all V8s in 2013 and since. This is my 2013 ZL1 with that badge.

My car is #60,xxx and it has one. I believe they stopped putting the badges on in October of 2009. My car was made October 29, 2009.

The first 5000 or so also came with the GM cicklets on the lower front fender behind the front wheels as well. Pumpkin is #4920

You need 5 digits for your vin to make any sense. My SS was built for me on
8/4/09. #32351, It has the chicklets and the performance badge. I find all
the production changes interesting. Mine has the CD player, center dash door
locks and center hazard switch, Also no rear back up sensors.
