recent ford vs chevy
I was discussing NASCAR with a ford enthusiast, when all of the sudden he told me it was a ford rearend that got the Chevy across the line. I responded with facts.
NASCAR manufacturer championship facts. 2013 Chevrolet 2012 Chevrolet 2011 Chevrolet 2010 Chevrolet 2009 Chevrolet 2008 Chevrolet 2007 Chevrolet 2006 Chevrolet 2005 Chevrolet 2004 Chevrolet 2003 chevrolet 2002 ford 2001 Chevrolet 2000 ford 1999 ford 1998 Chevrolet 1997 ford 1996 Chevrolet 1995 Chevrolet 1994 ford 1993 Chevrolet Meaning in 20yrs Chevy has won 15 times ten of which were consecutive. Compared to fords 5. If u go back farther ford only has 15 championships total, Chevrolet has 37. All of which was done using ford designed rear ends you know to keep things fair and more about the motors. Cause obviously it wasn't the rearend winning the races lol. Needless to as I won the argument. PS if u count them as GM it jumps to 43, ford stays at 15, and the gm consecutive win streak jumps to 16yrs in a row 1976-1991 |

Know that u say that Alan kawiky dale Jarrett and Kurt bush are the only fords that I can remember haha

Would it be fair to say that ALL of the losers, back of the pack, barely limped through the end--- or not--- were also using Ford- designed rear ends?

I've also been told john force dominated drag racing and drives ford. He won 16 championship titles 6 or 7 of which he earned driving gm cars along with being named driver of the year in 96 and becoming the first drag racer to receive that honor. In 96 he was still driving a Pontiac.
