Mistake or bad dealership?
Ok so I found a 2013 ZL1 vert loaded for $48,995 new. Sat down and crunched the numbers he came up with out the door price of $54.5k with rebates of $3750 included. I never seen the 49k price used, as we did this on plain white paper as I said I will not purchase today until I speak with my back. It didn't seem right right but I wanted him to put his best foot forward even tho I remarked multiple times it doesn't look right, and made it clear I've purchased cars before. When I got home last night and did the math I came up with $48,445 with rebates OTD. That's a 6k difference
So I asked him to do it as MSRP he did it as such: $63,640+docs(224)+tax(3831)+transfer(23) then - $3,750 in rebates So I did the equation the same way starting from the advertised price of $49k..... So I get the feeling because I played a little dumb he is trying to take me for 6k!!! You guys see the math the same as I do? |

they should be able to give you the advertised price. Obviously when they came up with that price their math was similar to yours ($500 difference). Tell them you want the advertised price OTD. If they can't or won't, go somewhere else. There are plenty of deals out their. Or contact Becky and see what she can do.

Who's Becky
I used their own math process starting with the advertised price, they used a 54k starting figure which they could not explain to me other than thats the way the numbers work out. So I feel they aren't giving me the advertised price but jacking it up in hopes I don't notice or too stupid to catch it. I'm really hoping it's an honest mistake. If not I have no problems holding them to their advertised priced if I decide to pull the trigger. |

Beginning price, at worst, would be MSRP. You could ask for $500 above invoice minus current incentives.
It's worth you time and money to shop around. Becky is a dealer who frequently visits here. BeckyD@RodgersChevrolet |

Becky is just south of me by 45 mins. They spit it out being that 48k was for employee's. I really don't understand WTF you really have to advertise employee only pricing..... seems not only shady but insulting as well...
