Stock ported or full aftermarket throttle body?

Kicking around the idea to do something with the throttle body since I have a new full exhaust, headers, highflow cats, and CIA. If going aftermarket should I look for a larger throttle body? What’s everyone’s experience????

I'd get a stock ported one if you're able, specifically the stage 2 Bo White. Going large than stock size won't benefit you enough to make it worth the cost until you do an intake manifold and possibly even heads I would assume haha.

Go with a ported tb from Bo White as others have said. One of the best mods for a L99 out there! Going with a larger throttle body will only benefit you if you have a larger intake for it to breathe in on a large power vehicle. PM Bo on here and he will get you squared away! If you do go with a manufactured tb go Vmax, but stay away from BBK. BBK throttle bodies have been known to stick. They make tons of other really great products but their ported throttle bodies aren’t known to be one of them.

Slightly used TB's are plentiful. Pick on up for @$100, and do the job yourself. Not saying at all that work by Bo or other professionals isn't top notch, but I researched the hell out of it, and then used my dremel to do the job myself. Was very satisfying, and I knew I had the OEM I removed if I messed anything up. I think the job came out great, noticed a decent improvement, specifically on throttle tip in, and have had no issues since installing it over a year ago. I also just completed an LSA swap, and reused the ported TB, again, no issues. It's not rocket science, but does take patience and being careful to not try and go too far with the smoothing.

Yeah either way get it ported. You don't need an aftermarket one.
Vmax offers cnc
You can do it yourself
Or you can send it off

Ok thanks guys. My son has expressed interest as he needs a project for school. He is in a machinist apprenticeship program and runs cnc stuff as well as manual milling equipment.
