2015 Z/28 - White - Pittsburgh, PA

2015 Z/28
-#00048
-White
-AC / Speakers

Purchased with 3,100 mi., 1-owner car. Original dry-rotted tires were still on it.

-Swapped out the original tires with some new Michelin PS4S' in 305/30
-Removed coil covers
-Pulled NPP fuse
-Lloyds Mats Classic Loop Ebony trunk mat w/ Z/28 logo
-XPEL Prime CS 20% tint

XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF installed on the:
front splitter
full front bumper
full hood
full front fender flares
black portion of rocker panels
impact area on rear quarters
full rear fender flares
black portion of rear bumper

Had the car corrected and ceramic coated:
-compounded/polished all painted surfaces
-CQUARTZ Finest Reserve on the body
-CQUARTZ DLUX on wheels and calipers
-Gtechniq on all the glass

Amazing how great the Michelin PS4S tires are on this car. Really enjoyed the PSS' on my previous Camaro. Michelin makes great tires.

Sorry for the noob question, do all cars have the build plate? If so, where is it located on the car?

Nice Z/28. Great Tires ! I have the same ones on my Z/28. Totally change the car for the street, so much smoother, no tram lining, and they grip like glue. You will love them.

Yes, all have the plaque. It is under the engine cover, right side towards the rear.

Correct. Passenger side, rear. Took pic from driver side, then rotated pic.

Thank you. They did take out the tramlining. Michelin tires, no matter the platform, will always be the best option for a vehicle. Top notch manufacturing and quality

Thanks. I've seen your car up there, you do well there. I go up to track nights to watch friends/family. I'm not tracking this. Just street car. Next time we're both there I'll make sure to introduce myself

I’m a bit of a rookie, what does removing coil covers do?
Also, where did you get Michelin’s and who put them on? I hear Continental are a good choice too?

Coil covers are just the vanity covers on the motor that cay 'camaro' and '427'. I took them off because I prefer the look without them as well as people claim the stickers on the lettering come off due to heat eventually

I got the michelin's through discount tire direct (they actually $100 off (4) currently, IIRC). Local tire guy mounts and roadforce balances them for me. Michelin is far superior to Continental in my experience. May be more money put ride/noise/grip/durability and warranty far out weigh the minimal price difference. Also size varies from manufacturer to manufacturer... Michelin is wider than the same size Continental
