About an hour and a half. Best way would be over 222 to 309, then South on 309 to Quakertown, then over 313 to Doylestown.

Or hop on the Turnpike to the Willow Grove exit.

It's a nice little hike. But should be beautiful that time of year!!

I plan on getting out there and in the next week or so to document distances between turns for the cue sheet. This should help if people get separated.

Also, the last bridge will be removed from our ride. Some yahoo in a truck decided last week to try and squeeze through the Erwinna covered bridge and took the top along with him. PennDOT butressed what is left but it will require extensive repairs and is closed.

That is a darn shame...I guess the large neon yellow signs weren't enough

Next year they will probably have even bigger signs with flashing lights.

Despite damage to Van Sandt bridge, will we be stopping off at the Van Sandt Airfield? This location has been a highlight destination of past Bucks County covered bridge tours.
