Ported Blower/Snout HP Gains???

Anyone out there do before and after dyno pulls with only changing to a ported blower, snout or both? I'm thinking about going this route and would like to know if it's truly worth the expense.

I've heard and read anywhere from 5 to 30 HP depending on who does the porting.

I had my 1.9 snout ported and I had some porting done on the 2.3 and its snout. I always did the porting in conjunction with another list of modifications. I think the actual gains will depend on how hard you are pushing the air through the car. If you are running stock pulley ratios you may only see a 5 hp difference but the more pulley you run on the car the more the airflow in the supercharger and snout will effect the bottom line. You can really take a lot of metal out of that 1.9. ADM had some examples that he had done like 30 hours of porting work on. I don't know who you are considering for the work but if you talk to Andy at ADM Performance he probably knows right off the top of his head. It is not the cheapest way to get power but after everything else has been changed eventually you may want to go there.
