Electric Power Steering Ground Wire Location???

Can someone tell me where the electric power steering ground wire connects too? Mine was unhooked and not sure where the stud is for it or if it's a bolt. 2013 ZL1, but I'm sure it's probably the same location for all 5th gens with electric power steering. Thanks!

I'll go look for you shortly, but I think you are correct.

That grey thing goes on a stud IIRC from installing my CAI

I just went and looked, and the end of the wire goes to a stud thing, that looks like the ones your red engine cover has with no threads and a knob on the end for a rubber grommet to snap into. That stud is located to the right of the wash tank. Right at the end of the rubber strip above the radiator. You'll see a notch in the metal there and right below it should be that stud, it sits left to right (not up and down vertically) into the fender (officially the negative jumper connection point??) . Likely it's missing now so a bolt will do.
You might already know the power steering failure seems to be often linked to a bad ground and can go out more than once. You don't want to have bad grounds besides throwing engine codes it will wreck the PS.
Note: Not that it matters but not my engine pic, something from the 'net to show the wire and grey holder stock positioning.

That is where it goes. Because of numerous failures (probably because it's painted sheet metal) as long as you have it off, you may want to ground it to the frame with a good bolt and dielectric.
