what lift cam are you planning on using? I would doubt that it is going to be 700 lift! Livernois ported my stock LSA heads and they are flowing 368 cfm (intake) and 248 cfm (exhaust) at 650 lift. I have a 646 lift cam int & exh. I would look at some head flow rates that are close to the size lift cam you are going to use or ask them what are their head flow rate for the size lift cam you going to use. 394 sounds good if you are using a 690 to 700 lift camshaft. I think the AFR Mongoose LS3 Heads are flowing 377 cfm Int 251 Ext @ 650 lift and I think they are made of the A356 Aluminum just like the OEM LSA heads and the trick flows Gen X 255's are flowing well also, but I am sure if they A356 Aluminum material.

Oh yea for sure wouldn't try 700 lift on a hydraulic myself,. Just thought damn it boy almost 400?? But yes at 650 lift they were around 380 iirc,....Im putting spray on the car so I'm not too worried about spending $1500+ on porting or obviously more for new heads,...just curious what real gains guys have seen at the 650whp level,..my car is making 715rwhp now with unported blower,.stock heads,. And a kinda conservative cam on 15lbs. So I have some power left on the table i know

A good set of ported heads might get you 20-30rwhp. Not a ton on a car that's boosted already. The aftermarket heads are nice if you're going with the 6 bolt designs for added clamping force....if you have the block for it as well.

My first question is What blower you running?

CFM advertisements can be misleading especially when you run a 600 lift cam.

We want to see the flow gains at 100-200-300-400 lift where it makes the most difference.

Also If combined with a 1900 blower gains will be minimal compared to heads and a larger blower combo.

In other words the 1900 blower will be restricting the heads.

Ted.

Kinda what I was thinking if the stock blower could even move enough to even really benefit from worked heads,...I'm hoping I can push another 150 thru it with the N20 safely would love to see over 800 at the tire.

The stock LSA heads do pretty well after porting and getting rid of that swirl wing.
