I always use my jack and jack stands at the same time if one fails the other will prevent a full fall that’s the theory anyway. I will put one under the front and one under the back and have the jack centered hold the car and set down using all 3 to hold the weight. That’s if both tires are off hit The car. If just one only need one. I have another jack so it’s not hindering anything leaving one there. Just don’t forget to pull the ebrake and I still put something under the wheels just in case it rolls. Only gotta do it once when it’s being lifted I take extra time for safety even though not always needed

So simple yet effective now I have a use for when we get pallets off hvac units what width did you do I have 10.5 wide rims so I figure 14” square figuring in I swap my tires for some 285s back only have 255 stretched right now came with the wheels

I cut each piece 15" long, yields 6 pieces from each 2x4. Required 8 2x4s for a set of 4 stands. I used #10 2" deck screws, 2 on each corner. Sink them in about 1/4".
