He does sound good!

Maybe 50 is enough and GM has it right based on the fact that there are allocations not spoken for yet? Two dealers I checked had "waiting" lists and the third only had interested people but no commitment. That's where I stepped in line for the order.

The car sales model is starting to change with Tesla and other direct to consumer car sales. The current version has people lined up at one dealership fighting over a car while others in the area have allocation or even stock. Interesting.

If only they brought it out to slay the competition, but it seems to just get a slight edge on its old competitors. Lowest price is where the zl1 needs to stay. And warrantied stage packs to bring us up to 700+ crank hp.
The ZL1 is more than just the A10. The high water mark for Chevrolet is the Corvette, currently Z06. The ZL1 has to slot in somewhere and as it looks now an incredible value against competition, internal and external to GM. Of course the ZL1 will be eclipsed, but I don't think it's going to be overnight like you suggest.

Right now I'm seeing .99 for 72 months and 1.99 for 84 months. Not bad I'd say. That's a lot less than what I'm paying for the C7, lol.

Nov. Interest rate was 1.99. It has gone up to 4.99 for the ZL1.
On a 40,000 loan over 84 months that is an extra 50 a month.
Connect and win is back. It is stackable with private offers from the GM.ca website.

I got $1750 off my SS that way.

Technically we pay less for our ZL1s than our U.S friends

I'm going to my dealer tonight. Maybe I will win a free car, you never know. Or $10K so I can trade in for a 1LE.
Everyone should go.

Cars won't be in until April / May Anything can happen. They could have 0% by then or 9.99%. Usually that time of year great deals are to be had ...

So due to availability some of us might not have a choice in what we get? Yeah that's a backout. I'll swing in tranny choices but I'm not taking a vert.

I think if u order a coupe u r safe. It's the guys that want a vert that may be forced into a coupe.

My source says only 10 will be Verts out of the 50. If u order a coupe you will get one.

Also at time of ordering in Jan they will know 100% what u r getting. If by chance u r told vert then back out This is very unlikely.

4. Send Title to US Customs 72 hrs in advance so they can prove the car isn't stolen.
5.Take stamped Title to Canada Customs to prove the export done correctly.
6. Signup for RIV at border with Form 1.
7. Pay Federal GST taxes.
8. Register for RIV program.
9. Ensure no recalls exist.
10. Perform Provincial and Federal inspections.
11. Pay Canadian Provincial Taxes.
12. Plate car.

After all that you will pay 1.36 times the US dollar amount which way overshoots what GM has set the MSRP in Canada. You'd be over CTS V money and deep into Z06 range.
And a Partridge in a pear tree...

Tax, tax, and tax. Go gov't!!

Try Payam - Sales Manager at Applewood Chev. It's a long shot this late in the game but worth the call.
