Footwell Lighting Question

Hello All....is there a fuse that is required for the footwell lighting when directly tapping into the dome light?

I'm guessing that you used t-taps, correct? Double check that they went all the way through the wire casing. That's usually my problem when things don't work.

Might seem like a rude reply but sometimes I forget that my dome light is switched to always being off. Then check the t-taps like stated by stieger. Might want to check that the what you grounded it too is a good ground. Good Luck!

Would the wiring configuration be the same on a convertible, since we don't have the dome light. We have the light by the rearview mirror, is it a gray wire under the dash on the passenger side?
Thanks
