Factory Cold Air Intake
I did a search and can’t find a thread that I happened upon a few weeks ago about the factory CAI.
The car I bought has one installed (original owner custom ordered it so it’s on the window sticker). I heard/read that if not reprogrammed properly it can actually hurt your performance. Is there an easy way for me to see if it has been installed/programmed as it should have been? Thank you!

The dealer would be the only way, I suspect. They have to have the VIN to download and install the software. It should be in the service records for the car.

Okay. Thank you. I bought it out of state but maybe I can call and request the service records.

If the dealership that sold the car to the original owner and the air intake was on the option list, then when it was installed the reprogram was done too! No worries IMO!
