Time to update the look

My Summit White 1LE had the hood wrap removed by the previous owner and after 6 years I'm considering a change. Do I re-wrap the hood to get back to a more original look or do I go for a stripe package of some sort?

Attached picture is the car with real 19" Z/28 wheels (I do not have the original 20s) and you can kinda see the red six piston calipers, which almost makes me want to us a red highlight somewhere.

I'm also considering adding side skirts, like the ones from Ikon, in black.

Let the suggestions fly and feel free to post reference pics.

I vote YES for the wrap! Very cool feature of the 1LE.

I may be biased, but I would wrap the hood in black. The black on white look really looks nice, I’m not much of a stripe guy though.

Go satin black hood wrap. You can always try the red twin fender stripes and if you don’t like, easy removal.

I just refreshed my hood with satin black. I would go matte black if I had to do it again. Satin has just a tad too much gloss in the sun.

After 11 years with Vinyl Stripes, I would say Paint It
Vinyl Worked really good, But takes more work to keep them soft longer
don't get me Wrong the 1LE hood kit is Killer

Stick with OEM rockers from a ZL1 much better look.

I do like the look but not sure I want to deal with painting them. I'm also not sure I'd like to leave them all black either. My biggest concern with the Ikon ones is damaging them climbing in and out of the car as it is still a daily driver.

^^^ this for sure. My buddies 1LE is red but I always liked the look of the black wrap on the hoods. It says "1LE" to those who know!! The Ikon skirts look cool, but as mentioned too, the ZL1 skirts look awesome as well. That's what I installed..

The factory vinyl job was Matte Black. It was the older 1080 series vinyl from 3M. The 2080 series is their current stuff. I prefer the matte over satin.

You can buy ZL1 rockers with the paint already done. Then you just drop your OEMs and install your new ZL1s.

If it was mine i would definitely get the hood wrapped with either a matte or satin finish. I went with the zl1 rockers myself.

Wrap the hood for sure. As for the rockers I've had a set of the iKons in my shop for a year I gotta get to installing one of these days. I wish the zl1 ones were more aggressive, they are factory fit though, you can't beat that.
