Is Anyone Else's 1LE Splitter Like This??? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys! I noticed 2 gaps between the splitter and the body right where the indent in the middle of the splitter starts on either side of the splitter... It's hard to explain, so I attached a picture. The same gap is on the other side, as well.

Just curious if anyone else with a 1LE splitter has the same gaps or if it was installed incorrectly from GM?

*Don't mind the mess... I was about to clean it when I noticed the gaps.*

Hard to tell from the pic. I just installed a 1LE splitter on my SS, and its possible yours isn't snapped into the bracket all the way?

What is that in there? You shouldn't be able to see the bracket, and theres no reason for double sided tape in there.

I'm not sure what it is that you can see in there... It's weird that I've never noticed.

Either way, I put the car away for the winter. When I bring it to the dealer in the spring, I'll have them take a look at it and if its not mounted properly, they'll fix it under warranty, I guess..
