I manage to get my wits about me in time to make the turn into the dealer and we go to check it out. She is out of the car before I even get completely stopped and in the shiny new red 2LT before I can even got out of our car.

I walk up all calm and collected and ask nonchalantly, "So, what do you think?".

Her reply?

"WE GOTTA GET ONE OF THESE!!"

Been like that ever since, even with my mod-itis....

But then again she has been with me for over 30 years and is used to my "issues"....
Though mine isn't as excited about the car, she understands my obsesion. Or at least tries to. We've been together for 20 years.

It is a difficult balance to strike...loving a G5 camaro and a woman at the same time. It's hard to explain why you won't regularily drop $500 on pieces of jewelry, purses, whatever for her but won't hesitate to buy parts for the camaro that cost 3x that much every chance you get. I understand their prespective on it so I try to do something for her from time to time...probably not enough, but hey, I'm saving up right now for a stroker build!! baahahahahaha!

My Girl-Friends think its silly as all hell I refer to the car as she/her whenever I talk about her. LOL.......but they love riding in it, so they STFU.....hahahaha.

I have been travelling a little more this year, which they are glad I am as opposed to sinking money in the car, but there isn't really much else I can do anymore, gonna get the suspension done this year and thats it.

My girlfriend complained about me spending too much time with my car and did the old "me or the car". Well, I still have the car! Leaves more money for mods!

My girl friend doesn't care as long as she can buy expensive purses. By the way how many $1000 purses do you need?

Someone stole all my wife's credit cards, but I'm not going to report it -- the THIEF IS SPENDING LESS THAN SHE DID!

I know a girl with a closet full of Vuitton purses and luggage. So I'd say at least 40 pieces, then you have to start buying the limited edition pieces for special occasions.

NONE!! I spend that money on my Camaro or Harley, I wouldn't be caught dead with a purse that cost over $50.00!! But that's just me. Wait, my purse is 50.00 and the Smith and Wesson S&P 38/357 in it was 500.00!!
