SS brakes?

Interested in finding a full SS brake system for my RS, where outside of eBay can you find a full kit?

Just a note: if your buying SS brembo brakes as an "upgrade" you might want to look at other options. I feel the SS brakes are poor at best.

Poor at best in what way? I replaced my factory front pads and rotors at 40,000
miles. My factory rears are still on the car at 50,000 miles. What's not to like?
Changing to another brand just to think your making an improvement without
any facts makes no sense. I got my GM brake parts on line at: GM parts Direct.

Perhaps Jourdan means they are poor compared to the ZL1 or CTS-V 6 piston brakes?

Don't know. That's why I asked. I don't race or abuse my car so maybe
there are better heavy duty brake products out there for that.

The SS brakes are fine for every day driving and even spirited auto cross if you want to get serious like road course stuff then yes you might (key word MIGHT) wanna think about it. I have a Challenger SRT8 with twin turbos and I did 135 down the front straight at NCM without issue running 4 piston Brembo's with Power Stop Pads. It all depends on what you want to spend. I have less than a grand in my set up with re coat, rebuild new Z06 pistons, pads, bleeders and seals, stainless lines, CTS-V rotors and heat shields hell even bought a brake bleeder in all that. All I can say is shop around and research everything around have a plan and figure out your goals.

I was thinking there a step up from the rs brakes, bigger rotors and 4 piston calipers if I'm not mistaken. I would like drilled and slotted rotors also. Functional and look great. I'm not gonna race it so no need for overthinking purpose.

Are you serious? They are the car's best feature!

I think my perspective is skewed. I have raced superbikes my whole life (54), and I can't wait to get some real brakes for my SS.

These brakes fade quick, and can't pull the 3850 pound car might as well be 2 ton down from speed quickly. With hard hitting crazy power.

I feel brakes should be more powerful than the engine.

I want it to throw me through the windshield at a buck thirty.
