99 c5 value

I owned a c5 many years back and loved that car.

I have a friend with a 99 c5 coupe m6 in the rare nassau blue color who asked me for help selling his car. It has 47,500 miles on the car and is completely bone stock.

What do y'all think it is worth. I said I'd help out and going to do his annual maintenance and look the car over.

Curious what I should be asking generally speaking. Think I may try to throw some money at them as the color is amazing. My research shows that there were only 570ish coupes made in the color that year and makes me feel that 13k is reasonable for this car which is more than I got but I do wish him to get a good price.

Might be a tad low but in the ballpark. Here's one but this dealer is always priced on the high side.

Thanks that's the exact car but 6 speed. Guess I'll keep looking and may ask him to start a bit higher. Probably better than him starting to low.

Guess I may miss out on this deal

Rare (and very nice) color. Not sure on the value. Try corvetteforum, I am sure there will be someone that will spring for it. it's too bad the interiors arent a bit nicer on the C5. I'd love to have one but would probably spend a bit more for a C6 since the interiors are a decent step up.

Whenever I see a C5 like that on the road, my first thought is who in the hell at GM thought those wheels looked good lol

I haven't looked at the selling prices of these c5's in a while. Don't take my word for it. But that has relatively high mileage. I think c5's with under 25-30k go for low to mid teens.

I would probably value it at a few grand over 10,000. maybe 12?

Thanks for the feedback. He's only put 800 miles or so a year since bought in 2001. I'd probably snag it if they wanted 10k.

Anything less than $15k seems really low to me, at least when I was in the 6 speed sports car market 2 years ago.

I agree. The prices have dropped significantly it seems. I told him to ask 14k obo. Have had lot of trade requests and one legit visit this week.

If you know anybody interested, I think I can get them a great deal on a low mileage rare color c5. It has some trouble like any 18 year old car that has only gotten 800 miles per year avg since 02.

I changed the oil which was still clear, cycled the clutch fluid aka ranger method and have a new gatorback serpentine belt coming in Monday.

I took it to the local meet on Saturday. Seemed to get some looks
