Another Whipple Install

Last week I had Ben and the guys at Craven Performance installed my Whipple super charger, Cam, and American Racing LT headers on my 2010 M6 RS/SS. I've had my car back a few days now and couldn't be happier. My car base lined at 403hp/389trq and after the install it came in at 614hp/550trq. And that was on a very warm and humid day so I'm sure there was a bit more hp there.

I'm relearning to drive the car at this point, mashing it to the floor is no longer an option as traction control immediately kicks in. So I'm having to learn to ease into it and then get on the throttle. The Whipple really makes some power and adding the headers and cam gives the car a whole new sound.

I can't say enough good things about the guys at Craven Performance their work was outstanding. But just as important to me is customer service and Ben doesn't disappoint. It's great to find a local shop where the owner and the guys working there have a passion for what they do. I must have talked to Ben 50 times in the last few months and every time I got the feeling he was more excited about building the car than I was. I know there are a lot of great shops out there, but its nice to find one in your own back yard.

I had a few mods before this install.
-ADM cai
-Borla catback exhaust
-Tune by Jennetty Racning

Here's a video of my car on the dyno...

And a picture of the finished project.

Nice. Did you stick with the stock pulley? What was the psi you were seeing and what cam did you go with? Also did you use a BAP or new fuel pump? Thats pretty much exactly the setup I plan on going with.

I have the stock pulley, It's right at 8lbs. The cam is a custom ground cam that Ben has developed, so he doesn't share the stats of the it. I told him I wanted a good daily driver that you could tell had a cam if you listen for it. And that's exactly what I got. I have the KB BAP on it and so far its doing a great job.

Good to know; I wanted to be in that psi range. The only change is I might do the Livernois or ADM pump instead of a BAP if it can handle the hp without a BAP. Shooting for less splicing and cutting of stock wiring if at all possible.

Those numbers, 614 / 550, are on just 8 lbs of boost? Holy crap, cam or not, those are some very impressive numbers! Congratulations!
