He must have a old whipple or a bad tune. Ive seen more than a few gen 4 whipple cars making 615-630 rwhp breathing thru stock manifolds and airbox with no other mods on 9 psi boost, 93 oct tune on a mustang dyno.

I just double checked with him to make sure and he is only running 7.5lbs boost. I apologize for the incorrect info. Carry on.. lol

ECS gives best bang per dollar. My 1500 kit is capable of 800. The 2200 as much as 1300. The key is your fuel system. Go as big as you can afford.

ECS has a restrictor plate which helps with the lower end trq. I’m sure u can apply the same thing to anyone of the units.

If you’re after instant power I’d be looking at the LSA, whipple, maggie type blowers.

Equivalent peak power, it goes in this order of delivery for the lower end, "instant power":

Top mount SC = Nitrous > Centrifugal SC > Turbos >= NA

Of course, you can combine some of these to get better worlds of power delivery (SC+N2O or T+N2O), and use modifiers too (anti-lag). But, with focusing on the centri, you're more in the linear line of power delivery with more power with more RPMs.

I have to disagree with you.

The tuner kit for ECS 1500 is $6495. The max HP is 800whp

The tuner kit for the ESS G3X is $6095. The max HP is 1000whp.

You do the math. Can you find both of them cheaper, yes, maybe you can.

My ECS was 5800$ tax free. When I was pricing out the G3X it exceeded 7k. If it was 6100$ I would’ve bit on that.

Maybe they dropped their pricing. The advertised pricing is right there on their websites. I agree if you call a vendor you might be able to get better pricing on either kit. Dont forget to consider, the ECS 1500 is 8 rib. All ESS kits are 10 rib.

https://esstuning.com/gen-5-camaro-s...ger-tuner-kit/

https://eastcoastsupercharging.com/p...en-camaro-263/

If you want cheap the ESS kit with the Vortech V3Si is $5295.

Rup, if you are talking about the G3X kit with fueling options, then yea, its $7000, but you get injectors, ZL1 pump, HPTuners Ngauge and a tune.

ECS's fueling options are injectors and a BAP for $500.
(correct me if I am wrong, just going off their website)
