HA! Now that the site is up, I'm finally getting around to trying to post this up....BUT YOU BEAT ME TO IT!

This is being posted up for Dan. Obviously they did a LOT to get this done and it's going to be one hell of a DVD.

There will be a limited run of copies made. I have all prior fest "stuffs" so I'm picking one up for sure.

His contact info should it be needed.

Is there any information about this DVD, like how long the runtime is? Interviews with GM staff? Interviews with attendees? Which events were covered and for how long?

I figure these are all the questions everyone is going to have about why they should spend $30 on a DVD...

30$ seems much more reasonable than 45$. Id also like to know what else is in the vid, I did see them interviewing a few people so Im sure there are some interviews.

I did event photography and videography for 5 years, and my wife still does it, the price is on par for what is usually charged for private events, especially if they have low expectations on how many copies they have sold, the quality of the video/editing (which looks great), and for an event that lasted 2-3 days, with a crew.

When we do horse shows/events, we charge 45$ to film, edit, and mail a dvd for about 10 mins of footage. Granted its for one person. But if you tried to equate that to 50 people and a couple days of footage, cut down to an hour video, 30 is about right.

It's only $30 if you pre-order before October 8th. After that it's $45.

$45? It better have a wet T-shirt contest filmed on there. Other forums sale them for $15-$20 bust for a 5hr DVD.

I saw our club's Autocross winning member Casey Featured! That is cool. But...............I do want to know more before plunking down $45.

Sell 98 at $30, or 500 at $18. I personally like fast nickels vs slow quarters. But, saturation.... well, only the non players are left to buy now! Somebody gotta pay! Now if I knew I was in the film, I'd probly buy it at $45. But "not" in it = not $30. Hell, I paid $15 for a damn oil pan bolt. Who am I to judge? I don't even get to watch it.
