Sorry to comment on an old thread, but i am so close to finally ordering these, but wanted to do some last minute research to finalize my decision. So after having these for a while are they still holding up well? any opinions, pros or cons? Thanks!

Got to thank Lupe for bringing this to the forum and his daughter doing the install.
I ordered mine a while back after seeing his initial post and I got them painted when ordered and did the cutting on this past Thursday and prepped the metal after the cutting and installed my LEDs inside the fenders which are operated by my wireless remote box with a fob. I think they look good and at night, a nice warm, red glowing emitting from behind the screens. Love it!

I love how the 3D vents look, in fact I like them so much I had them installed. No way was I going to try to do it myself, I just don't have the confidence that I wouldn't screw something up. The body shop that did the work painted the vents and did the install, they do good work and did a perfect job on my vents.

Any thoughts to paint the screen part of the vent another color? I seen a Camaro the same color as the OP where the screen was painted the same as the car. Not sure if I like it or not. I have gold hockey stripes so I was considering painting the screens gold.

I painted my vents blue, before I installed on the car though.

I think the painting of the screens should have been done prior to the install but I'm sure one could mask it up and do it though overspray would shoot through. I guess the question is, what if your LEDs go out or you really need to get in there for something, maybe to change lights, add or whatever, how you gonna remove the vents fairly easy without damage or buckling the fenders, hmmmmmmmm?

Good to know! I will be replacing my LEDs soon with some AAC pods. Was stressing that.

Lupe, did you ever come up with anything for the gill area? I'd really like to have something similar if not close for that area.
ACS has pretty much gone dark on their offering they were touting and most guys don't want to perform major surgery for the look.

Anyway, thought I'd check with ya as I really don't want to do that side scoop that's out there and has been for some time now.
