2012 Camaro LS
I own an LS and am still new to the whole car get up. How do I make my car sound louder? I was going to add on the Halo lights on the front also change the air intake but I’d really love to see how I can play with my car a bit.
Please let me know. |

Exhaust will always make sound more aggressive. However in the V6 world I’m not fluent with aftermarket besides pipes, CAI, suspension and exterior/ interior mods.

MRTv2 axle back is an easy way to add sound.
Intake + full exhaust (high-flow downpipes + cat-back) is a really nice way to get a good tone out of them. The stock mufflers are HUGE, they really quiet the car down.

Where can I find them? I really want to play with my car I know it’s not completely stock but I’m having a hard time finding reliable sellers that sell stuff that are durable

You can buy the solo downpipe and exhaust directly from solo performance.
Or you can pick up the MRTv2 from any of our vendors here. Most of the paying vendors are reliable companies. Phastek is the first that comes to mind.

Most exhausts will make it sound like a ricer. There are some guys in the LFX forum that have pulled off decent sounding exhausts but not many though.
