That Silver SS/RS took on the color of the environment. Seems to me Scarrzz might like that one (Silver)... With a good coat of wax, nice ambient outdoor lighting/sky etc, it just might surprize you.

And, during the day, it shines like a chiseled piece of Pittsburgh Steel. Not so bad really!

Nice pic Scott@ Scarrzz........ Silver might be a nice starting point for a repaint?

Here's the problem with your hypothesis -

It appears to me (and I may be wrong) that 'comments' translate to 'sales'...and the reality is that they don't. I could be a 12 year old defending ABM or SGM - or, for that matter, I could be a 60 year old doing the same thing....yet I've never bought a new car in my life - and don't intend on doing so........

You have to take some of this information and look a bit deeper.......

I'm at home right now, but INTERESTINGLY enough.......I just happened to go thru a report on Tuesday -- looking at option loads -- and in that report were the color volumes..........

Synergy Green was the lowest volume color in 2011 -- Red was number 2 or three...........

What are you implying?

Many hate it.
from my guess of people telling me personally it's about 75% to 25%. "in reality it is more of a 50/50 because many people don't have the guts to tell you directly"
about 5% of the people would drive it

Could the fact that convertible was not an option in SGM contribute to that statistic?

Sometimes there are factors other than the color that affect its sales.

actually we track color volumes bi-weekly - so no, it didn't suddenly drop in volume. It's a very controversial color - and while many like it, they aren't going to order it. I found that it was a GREAT attention getter when dealers would put one out front - you couldn't miss it!

I love IOM, that is what I currently own but would love to see ABM come back as a ZL1 option only. Also, would love to see some sort of purple...
