I'm hoping there's more no than yes in this poll, but the Sheriff I talked to after my wreck said the Camaros are wreck magnets!
My story... Stopped at a red light, waiting for a gap in traffic to turn right. BAM! The guy behind me didn't stop.

I hopped out and punched him (Me, blond chick, him, old dude). As I was getting ready to swing, I was thinking "Don't hit him in the face, it'll leave a mark", so I slugged him in the shoulder. He stood there and stared at me, like "I deserved that"... This was when I only had 800 miles on her...
Happy ending - $1300 damage, his insurance handled it with grace, the body shop was fabulous, they matched the paint on the rear bumper better than the factory!

Assault charges pending for hitting the guy? The camaro is just a car, and just like any other car there will be accidents.

While i can feel your pain. An Leo dinged and scratched my fender with a little over 1,200 miles on it i do have to say your very lucky your not in jail. It's just a car and i'm quite sure he didn't do it on purpose. I know you don't need a lecture but honestly. You really might want to consider some anger management. Not only did you hit an "old dude" you had to be prevented from hitting him again?? Good grief.

Sorry but that's just uncool any way you slice it.

Your poll is for a wreck only. My vehicle was damaged by someone opening his door into my fender. Different scenario same result. Damaged brand new car. Change the poll to chipped, dinged and scratched and i bet the percentage jumps much higher with still very few people being punched.

I answered yes to the question. I was hit by a lady while I was stopped, and her SUV ripped off my front end. $11,500 in damages.

She had 3 small dogs in cab with her on the front seat, and when I got out she was on the phone and wouldn't roll down the window. I never talked to her, just the cops.

That being said, I would have NEVER hit the other person. As others have said, you could be charged with assault for doing that, and it's a pretty stupid thing to have done.
