ZL1 hood options
I'm a bit confused on the "hood options" for the ZL1. Isn't the Carbon insert and the Standard Black insert the same as far as the look of the hood goes?

The standard ZL1 hood insert is carbon fiber with a black satin paint finish. There will be an OPTIONAL clear coated carbon fiber insert that shows the CF weave pattern.

Ohhhh, ok. Thanks for the clarification. And honestly, I can do without the CF weave pattern. Especially if I'm not doing a CF theme for the car. Though.....the CF weave hood and painted CF hood and trunk stripe to match would be the cat's a$$$$$$!

Does any one know if you do not get the stripe option, will the hood be the color of the vehicle with either a black or clear coated carbon fiber insert. Will the hood have a blacked out midsection extending from the carbon insert back the windshield??? Any thoughts would be appreciated

Its on the quick order. My source is the quick order sheet that I did with my dealer this afternoon. The "carbon fiber appearance" is subjective, as it is probably just a grey stripe, but I worded it exactly word for word off the quick order
