BMR UCA Bushing - Normal?

I just received my new Upper Control Arm bushings from BMR and when I opened the box, one of the sleeves came falling out. So one has a sleeve that can easily fall out and spin freely while the other one is stuck and doesn't spin at all. Is there an issue with one of them or is this normal?

thanks

Nothing wrong with them, mine were the same way. Not sure why but it appears to be normal.

The fixed side will slide on first, the run your bolt through the other sleeve and secure. They will only go on one way also.

I'm referring to the silver insert. The one in the pic that is out of the bushing just falls out of the bushing. The one on the right that is in the bushing is stuck in there and won't move. Seems odd that one sleeve would be loose and the other stuck.

Looks different than what I have, but forget what it looked like on the side of the bushing not shown in this pic.
BK039.

Here is the BMR web link:

What did you order?

Try reaching out to BMR their support has always been great. I remember reading that there is something that appears off but they are designed that way, Now I understand what your saying about them not being the same and not sure about that. I was going to use these but ended up getting NEW Z/28 parts.

I think they are supposed to rotate can you tap the other one out?

SO this is getting a little confusing.

In my previous post I do not show the machined insert in my Pic(s), nor does the JEGS link I attached selling the BMR BK039.

However, the BMR Web site shows what you have WITH the insert.
https://www.bmrsuspension.com/index....productid=1171

Given that, I guess what may be important is what rotates around what after the bolt is torqued, and note the grease fitting - where is the grease going - to the Sleeve/Insert, Delrin bushing, or both?
I know all my Bolt Sleeves in the various BMR Bushings were a rather "tight" fit and needed grease and a little pressing in to get seated.
Don't know, BMR Boy's should answer this.

I spoke to Glenn at BMR this morning and he assured me that the metal silver sleeve should be loose and able to spin. The one that is stuck is an issue.

He immediately got on it and is sending me a new unit today!

Hopefully this clears up confusion for others as well. You should have that metal sleeve and it should be able to spin freely.

thanks

I had the metal insert in mine and just installed a little over a week ago. I never even noticed if they spun or not. But it seems to be driving nice.
