I did a lot of similar mods except bilsteins and Pfadt springs with a combo of 1LE & z/28 suspension. How do you like the handling so far? I’m not overly impressed with my build just yet and kind of thinking my alignment specs might not be great.

What alignment specs did you go with? I may have to check out the shop you took yours too. I had mine aligned at rockstar garage out in Ontario area but they don’t really deal with Camaros.

So far I’m loving every bit of the upgrade. I haven’t driven the car much, but the little amount I have has been awesome!

Here are the specs of my before and after Alignment. It’s also at the end of the YouTube video.

Awesome Brother - you should be proud.
A big part of it I'm sure was the research necessary, sorting out what parts to use, how to do it, and weeding out all of the "expert" opinions out there. I had fun following your build, as it brought back memories.
Your alignment spec's look OK - but you can only increase Caster with something like Moreno Plates or the like. These allow tweaking the camber/caster alignment, and it took my alignment guy a few hours to dial it in.
So now - what is next, as the mod bug is a incurable obsession? Some car shows?

Thanks Hesster! I don't plan to do any more upgrades at the moment. I'm looking to finally purchase my vacation/retirement home soon. All of my money is going towards that at the moment.

I was looking into some Camaro meet ups, but I don't see too many of them posted.

I definitely will look into those Moreno plates, but for now, I'm good.

thanks again,
Allen

I just did mine as well, I did not install the Off set bushings as they did not come in on time, Not sure if I will at this point or just wait until I pull it apart for something else. The rear is much stiffer now and I do feel every single bump, I am using the same Alignment specs as well, I needed BMR Camber bolts to get mine, but I am using their Toe/Trail and LCA.

Yes, I removed the heat shield before cutting. Makes it much easier to cut. I’m sure it can be done on the car, but why make the job harder?

Nice job I just did the exact same thing except I already had solid subframe bushings and toe ends and trailing arms. I did aFe Featherlight coilovers, Hotchkiss sways with the 2012 outside mounting and Hendrix carrier offset bushings, 4 new wheel berings and UCA bushings plus new bushings for control arms and other bushings. The car drives like a dream but I have a lot of noise from the offset bushings from Hendrix and a lil clunk from the axel bearing on the rear end but the handling is incredible with the aFe Coilovers

Dma05 are you noticing a noise from your off set Diff Bushings as tlamb2?
